Mediation
Mediation
Chapters of Rose Croix are tasked with the duty of mediation when necessary and appropriate. This may be through any member of the Chapter but the Committee of Four is specifically suited to it.
This mandate is fulfilled through the two principle means as specified in Liber 194. On the one hand the Committee of Four promotes and facilitates pro-active social interactions among the Brethren, while on the other they assist directly in the mediation process and assist in composing disputes between members when they do happen to arise – and this in lieu of the matter having to be elevated beyond the regional level. This aspect of the Committee of Four’s mandate can prove to be an invaluable resource to the Chapter as well as local bodies, local masters and individual members in a given region in terms of effective mediation and dispute resolution.
How We Can Help
Any member of O.T.O. in good standing may contact their Chapter to assist in this. Our Committee of Four can assist members within our regional influence in the following ways:
Having an informal informational conversation to help you determine your next steps in a dispute
Helping you to determine your fitness and plan for advancement should you desire it.
Assisting the membership in contacting the appropriate U.S.G.L. offices for their situation.
